Today the Digital Leaders went on a trip to the Apple Store in Victoria Square, Belfast. They were led through a session on creating AR characters by two experts Andy and Christian. The children worked in pairs to create a lucky character from the film 'Luck.' ☘️ They were then able to take photos of themselves with it around the store using the most up to date iPads and pens and the Procreate app.
This app is a complete art studio with hundreds of brush types and 3D painting. Our pupils enjoyed experimenting and learning the tricks of the trade when it comes to illustrations and animations. They layered the characters and paints to add detail to various characters and were able to input them into photographs.
Digital Leaders will now be able to teach their classes and other pupils in our school how to use the app! They were also treated to a trip to McDonalds before returning back to school ready to share their knowledge. Thank you to the Apple Store for a great morning! 😊
