Today the Digital Leaders headed to Belfast to visit the new Apple Store at Corn Market!
We were very impressed by the new store and all the exciting new tech that was on offer! Aaron met us at the door and showed us where our training session would take place. Everyone had their own iPad and a set of headphones- we were ready to get stuck in and learn all about the Garage Band App! 🎶
GarageBand is a music creation app that allows you to record, mix, play, and edit songs. It includes a professional audio and music editing tools, such as multitrack editing, inserting vocals, editing pitch and adding effects like reverb and compression. We had a go at using all of these effects today as we created our own theme tunes!
It was great fun to create and layer our music using different instruments and it was interesting to listen to the music that our friends had created too!
After this we explored the grounds of City Hall and enjoyed the sunshine. We did think about having lunch in The Ivy but decided to stick with the plan and head to McDonalds for a well-earned break!
We had a great day out and are looking forward to sharing our knowledge with everyone in school! 😊
