Our newly appointed Eco Council were delighted to attend their first outing representing our school at a workshop at St Mary’s Grammar School.
The GeoDiscovery Centre is a mobile learning unit which travels around the North of Ireland, educating pupils all about the potential of geothermal energy. Our eco councillors used VR headsets, enjoyed demonstrations and explored different types of rocks. We had such a great time. The children were fantastic ambassadors for our school on this outing, hopefully the first of many jobs this year.
