Thank you to Peter McErlean from Eco Schools NI for visiting Primary 7 today! The girls enjoyed a very informative session on Fast Fashion... it definitely got them thinking about where they buy clothes from! They were shocked by some of the statistics about their favourite brands such as Shein, Primark and H&M.
The photos of factories in Banglasdesh and China have made pupils much more aware of the treatment of workers and the conditions they are working in.
Peter finished the session by showing the girls how to turn t-shirts they no longer wanted into tote bags! 👜
