P2A took part in another Forest School session today, we noticed a big change in the weather so we made sure to wrap up nice and warm!❄️ This session followed on from our last session building dens. The boys and girls have been exploring our homes through our topic 'Hey, hey look at me!'. To link in with todays session we decided to explore animals homes and habitats with a focus on birds. We spent some time in class talking and listening to stories, information and videos on nest building and the different types of nests that are built by different birds. They worked in pairs to gather the materials needed to build their nest and showcased the finished product to the whole class before ensuring we 'leave no trace' and return the materials used back to their natural surroundings. Well done P2A! Another very successful Forest School activity.🪹👏🏻
