We loved our forest school session in Polepatrick this week!
After a lovely walk and setting up our boundaries, we got to work investigating camouflage. We found that colours such as orange, yellow and brown were much harder to see amongst the colourful leaves on the woodland floor.
We also learned about animals that camouflage in different ways for different reasons.
Before leaving we retrieved all of our hidden wool to protect our environment and ‘Leave No Trace’.
On the walk back we spotted a big nest high in the trees - it was impressive.
