We had another brilliant day at Ranfurly House in Dungannon with Caoimhe from Forest Schools in NI.🌳
Today we learned about how to start a fire safely and used fire rods to create sparks. We then rewarded ourselves by making some tasty s'mores on the fire. Miss Canavan and Mrs. Barton said they were very tasty indeed!! 😋
In the afternoon, we worked in groups to scavenge for materials to make our own tree mosaics. It was important to work as a team to create our own roles and make our artwork together. We loved looking at all the different creations in our class.
Before heading for home we made a pit stop in the museum to look at the many artifacts from the Hill of the O'Neill.
