This week we have been focusing on Maths Week Ireland. We have been engaging in lots of number based activities.
Our story of the week in Nursery this week was ‘The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark’. Our play experiences were related to owls and linked to mathematical experiences.
So far this week we have enjoyed, matching the feathers to the numbered owls, playing number board games and ICT games and finally we have enjoyed some messy/sensory play experiences making shapes and scooping amounts to 5!!
We have had so much fun! 🌟🌟
