In the beautiful Spring weather we finally walked down to Polepatrick without our hats, scarves and gloves! The boys and girls explored their senses by completing a blindfold activity with each pair taking turns to be blindfolded and directed to an area by their partner. The children had to rely on their sense of smell, touch and hearing to make up for their loss of sight. We also experimented with our sense of smell as the children identified tree barks that had been marked with a scent. We finished with some tree hugs - sometimes you just need a hug! 😊
