P7 celebrate World Wildlife Day 🐼
28th Feb 2024
United Nations World Wildlife Day (WWD) is celebrated every year on the 3rd of March to celebrate wild animals and plants. Every year this event is use to highlight the unique roles and contributions of wildlife to people and the planet.
Today Primary 7 pupils took part in an online lesson ahead of World Wildlife Day to learn more about different habitats (woodlands, rainforest, grasslands, savannah, oceans and polar regions) and the animals that live in each setting. 🐒🐠🐧
They then had to look at our school logo and try to design a new school badge that incorporates nature - have a look at some of the designs - we think they look great!
