Today our Primary 7 Digital Leaders attended a very exciting ICT workshop in St Mary’s Glenview. The pupils attended a number of workshops to help develop their skills in using ICT across the curriculum.
Pupils focused on how to promote mental health using the Pages app and thought of positive affirmations to help them reach their goals for this year.
They had the opportunity to further develop their knowledge of Just2Easy with a focus on coding and numeracy and were also introduced to the app called AR Makr where they created their own characters to use for creative writing.
Our pupils loved the last 2 sessions the most - using the Spheros to learn about angles and direction, and using the Keynote app for outdoor learning!
Today was an invaluable experience for our Digital Leaders, they gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise and will share this with Primary 6 Digital Leaders and other pupils in the coming weeks. A massive thank you to Mr O’Kane and his staff for a fantastic experience! 😊
