P7B Sentinus Project

In Term 2 P7B had the opportunity to take part in the Sentinus Digital Project linked with Mid Ulster Council. 
They had access to BBC Micro:bits and learned how to create emojis and music by coding the Microbits.  They had 2 in school sessions with Roy from Sentinus who led them through the project. He guided the class and taught them the skills needed to code the Microbits and in turn the McQueen robots! 
The class thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and were able to work as a team to create a short movie of their work. They choose the song 'This ain't Texas' by Beyonce to accompany their dancing robots and designed a backdrop.  Check out their video - we think it looks fantastic!
