Primary 7C were the lucky class who were chosen to participate in the online Izak 9 session this week! They worked in small groups and used the Izak 9 cubes to work out the answers to the numeracy puzzles. There were over 100 schools across Ireland taking part and it was great to be involved in the lead up to Maths Week Ireland!
The class were able to develop problem solving and reasoning skills while working in teams.
Using the cubes to answer questions the pupils were able to recognise patterns, identify prime numbers and square roots and even complete three and four step problems - well done everyone, great team work! 👏
