Primary 4 - 7 finished the year off today with an enjoyable prize-giving led by Mrs Mulholland. Prizes were awarded for outstanding work in both Accelerated Reading and Mathletics - two programmes that out pupils work extremely hard at all year.
Mrs Hasson and Mrs Collins organise Accelerated Reading in our school, with teachers monitoring it throughout the year. Today Mrs Collins presented awards to those who had reached 250,000 words, 500,000 words, 750,000 words and 1,000,000+ words! We also recognised those who had got the most amount of questions right in their quizzes throughout the year. These are amazing achievements for the boys and girls and show the culture of reading in our school! 📚
Miss Carr leads the Mathletics programme in school and pupils have worked on this programme both in school and at home. Many pupils achieved bronze and silver certificates throughout the year, well done everyone! Today prizes were awarded to pupils who have achieved an amazing Gold Certificate! 🏆
