This week P7C has had the opportunity to participate in a collaborative creative writing project with Steven Ward from Sustrans.
In the run up to World Book Day Steven organised an interactive mega Creative Writing fortnight. Pupils from 25 different schools are working collaboratively to create a story across the two weeks that will grow as Steven cycles between schools.
Steven has visited many places over the last 2 weeks including Newtonstewart, Coleraine, Maghera, The Loup and Ballinderry with many more in-between. He updated us on the characters and the story each morning so we could follow along.
Then it was our turn to create some new characters! The class were asked to be creative in their planning whilst trying to incorporate themes of active travel. The children loved creating these characters and presenting their work to the rest of the class.
