This week the P2 year group had the pleasure of Mike from the ‘World of Owls’ visiting our school with 4 special guests 🦉. The boys and girls listened carefully and learnt many facts about the different types of owls. Did you know that the colour of an owls eyes tells you whether they hunt at night, during the day or at dust and dawn?! Harley the Eurasian Eagle Owl is a very famous owl who has featured in many films and tv shows like Harry Potter, Game of Thrones and much more. Thank you to Mike for teaching us all about owls as we continue to explore our topic in school ‘Things with Wings’. 😁
